Zone F, F1D update

For many of us, the spark of aviation is ignited by the roar of an engine or the speed of a low-pass flyby. But for me, the obsession began with silence. At 14, while at summer camp, a friend showed me the documentary Float. I was instantly captivated by the sight of an F1D model—a skeletal masterpiece of balsa and film, drifting through the air with impossible slowness.
